St. Patrick’s Day Activities 2025
You are in luck if you are celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day in West Michigan! As March 17 approaches, there are plenty of things to do to celebrate—just remember to wear green!
If you and your lads are still deciding how to spend the holiday, here are a few options:
- Paddy’s Leprechaun Chase in Holland: Run the St. Paddy’s 5k, or sign your kids up for The Wee Chase, a quarter mile fun run in Holland on March 15.
- Patrick’s Day Parade on 8th: The parade is celebrating its 20th anniversary on March 15. And don’t worry about late season snow or ice. Downtown Holland has heated sidewalks!
- St. Patrick’s Day parade: Join Grand Rapids for the St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 15. The Irish were among the first immigrants to come to Grand Rapids in the early 19th century to help dig canals along the Grand River. Wear your favorite festive outfit and join us at this celebration.
- Grand Rapids Irish Pub: Stop by Flanagan’s after the Grand Rapids parade for a traditional Irish dinner of Sheppard’s pie and more!
- Muskegon Shamrock Shuffle 5K: Bring your friends and family to the Shamrock Shuffle on March 15 to kick off St. Patrick’s Day events in Downtown Muskegon. Walk this fast and flat course then stay for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
- St. Patrick’s Day Grand Rapids Bar Crawl: Bring your friends, wear your green and get ready for a day full of green drinks, shamrocks, and bar-hopping fun on March 15.
- Irish Off Ionia: Happening in the Calder Plaza on March 15, join the party with an exciting artist lineup!
However you choose to spend your St. Patrick’s Day in West Michigan, we hope you have fun and enjoy the celebration of the Irish heritage!
