This summer was filled with many changes, including transitioning a traditional in-person internship to a remote opportunity. How were employers able to make the changes and adjust so quickly? How did students learn to navigate a new internship role while working remotely?  

In partnership with Hello West Michigan and the West Michigan Internship Initiative, the GVSU Career Center will be hosting a special seminar to share the lessons learned during a summer of remote internships.

Join us on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 9 AM to hear from employer partners Liz Hamilton with Kellogg’s and Darius Pimpleton with Our Daily Bread Ministries, who were able to quickly transition their traditional summer internships to remote opportunities. We will also hear from two students who completed remote summer internships.
