Join us for our 2021 Annual Meeting

In 2020, Hello West Michigan kicked-off the year by celebrated ten years of community impact on West Michigan. Our Annual Meeting was the last time our organization came together in-person before we went into quarantine. We couldn’t anticipate what this past year would bring, but we are proud of everything we accomplished during a year of uncertainty and we are ready to share it with you.

This year, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, we’re coming together (virtually) to celebrate all we accomplished and show you what’s on tap for this year.

At our 2021 Annual Meeting you will hear from:

• Our team about how we pivoted last year to support our members and candidates
• Our Board Chair about what we are planning for this year
• One of our Back To Michigan partners about the collaborative efforts to host virtual career fairs across the state
• A recent boomerang about their transition back to West Michigan during a pandemic

• Rachel Bartels, Executive Director of Hello West Michigan
• Jessica Kuster, Program Manager of Hello West Michigan
• Ann Harten, Vice President of Global Humans Resources at Haworth and HWM Board Chair
• Brianna Mosier, Director of Organizational Development for the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce
• Randy Thelen, President and CEO of The Right Place, Inc.

In addition to an update on our work over the past year and what we have on tap for this year, you will receive access to a panel of candidates who relocated to West Michigan. They will be sharing their relocation stories and how Hello West Michigan aided them in their journey.

This event is open to all—members, non-members, community members, and those interested in learning more. Pre-registration is required.
