You might know him as the owner of Dynamo or recognize his face from TikTok—Ryan Redoute has accomplished quite a bit proceeding his graduation from Michigan State University in Media Management. Ryan embodies a true Michigander and embraces his Mitten-roots. After leaving Michigan to explore Chicago, Ryan found himself “longing for the #lakelife again.”
Ryan was hired at a big advertising agency in Chicago, Illinois. After realizing that job might not be the best fit for him, he moved to a smaller advertising agency where he could work more closely with clients. The job was treating Ryan well, but he began to miss Michigan and his family. Ryan ended up scoring a job in the heart of downtown Detroit but wishes he had the opportunity to attend a Back to Michigan event to speed up the job-searching process by connecting with local, hiring employers and learning about their job opportunities.
After moving back to Michigan, Ryan worked at another big advertising agency in Detroit and loved getting to see the changing city outside his office window. Though this was great for him, Ryan began to think about starting his own business. He shifted gears and left his job at the advertising agency in Detroit to work full time for the music company, Pandora. He used his connections to get his first independent client, Five15, while still working full time. Once Ryan realized he could achieve his goals and attract clients, he quit his job at Pandora and focused all his time and efforts on obtaining more clients.
Three years have passed, and Ryan has now worked with over 20 businesses—mostly in Michigan—with his own business, Dynamo. Dynamo works with companies to help grow their digital marketing strategies. Ryan loves getting to work directly with clients and helping them grow their business.
