Sparrow Ionia Hospital is an acute care, not for profit hospital located in Ionia, approximately 4 miles north of I-96 and conveniently located half way between Lansing and Grand Rapids. The new LEED Certified Sparrow Ionia Hospital opened in June 2015 and has seen tremendous growth since it opened in its new location.  We are part of the Sparrow Health System based out of Lansing, Michigan which includes Sparrow Hospital, Sparrow Clinton Hospital in St. Johns, St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, Sparrow Carson Hospital in Carson City and an affiliation with Hayes Green Beach Hospital in Charlotte. With over 300 Caregivers providing services to our community, we operate a 24 hour Emergency Department staffed by Emergency Medicine Trained physicians; Oncology/Infusion Clinic; 18 bed Inpatient Medical Unit; Orthopedic & General Surgery; Cardiology & Respiratory Care; 100% Digital Radiology Department; Full Service laboratory; and Outpatient Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Services. Our Sparrow Medical Group Primary Care Offices are located in Ionia, Muir, Portland, Saranac and Sparrow Ionia Hospital, and through Sparrow Health System, all are members of the prestigious Mayo Clinic Care Network.
