About Hello West Michigan

Business has become a more fierce and competitive environment than ever before due to the recent economic challenges. In order for businesses to be successful they must hire and retain the best talent possible, even if that means on a global basis. Due to the lack of opportunities, those people with the best talent are often faced with the option of relocation.

A major factor is the decision to relocate is the region and area of that company. Unfortunately West Michigan is often looked down upon because of the large amount of negative media exposure regarding our economy. In response, forward-thinking organizations throughout West Michigan launched Hello West Michigan (HWM) in 2010 to address these common challenges. HWM exists to:
