West Michigan is also a premier design center — nearly 90% of the world's furniture designers are graduates of Grand Rapids-based Kendall College of Art and Design.

One of the nation’s largest and most extensive manufacturing sectors, West Michigan is home to industry leaders in applied technology, sustainable practices and industrial design.
